Kshitiz (क्षितिज)

I graduated with Department Rank 2 from the Department of CSE, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India. My research interests lies at the intersection of Machine Learning (ML) and Computer Vision (CV).

Over the years, my work has spanned several key areas, including:

  • Generative Modeling
  • Weakly Supervised Learning
  • Few-shot and Meta-learning
  • Domain Adaptation
  • Object and Activity Detection
  • Semantic Segmentation
  • Efficient Attention Mechanisms
  • Multi-modal Learning
These methodologies have been applied across fundamental and interdisciplinary domains, such as healthcare and environmental monitoring.

Research Experience

I am fortunate to work with Prof. Richa Singh and Prof. Mayank Vatsa as an undergraduate researcher at Image Analysis and Biometrics Lab, IIT Jodhpur. I have also worked closely with Prof. Saket Anand (IIIT Delhi) and Prof. Sudeep Sarkar (USF, Tampa). Over the years, I have contributed first-author papers to top-tier conferences including AAAI, IJCAI, and ICLR.

During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Prof. Timothy Hospedales (Machine Intelligence Group, University of Edinburgh), Prof. Yogesh Rawat (University of Central Florida), Vaibhav Vineet (Microsoft Research, Redmond), Prof. Venkatesh Babu (Vision & AI Lab, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore), and Dr. Angshuman Paul (IIT Jodhpur). Additionally, I collaborated with Maneesh Singh (previously at Verisk Analytics) and Gautam Kunapuli. I also interned at PrithviAI and iHub-Drishti (Department of Science and Technology, India), where I worked on an automatic number plate detection system under the guidance of Dr. Kaushal A Desai and Prof. Santanu Chaudhury.
